Writing Week 3 Term 4 - Pahurehure Inlet

A slushy ooze of mire, a perfect boggy home. Webbed feet wade through the sludgy water. Sharp claws clench outstretched branches.
Pukeko tramp through the dense clay. The sweet melody of tuis, brings crabs out to play.
Waves of mangroves and fierce currents form the sea. A creaky boardwalk, a windy path. Sky-scraping trees and plump bushes.
A flock of various species, a place for bird life to thrive.
